KONGWAK UNITING CHURCH - Physical Description 1
The Kongwak Uniting Church is a Carpenter Gothic church, which reflects the two building stages in 1898 and 1963. The 1898 building forms the main longitudinal gabled section, which retains lancet (pointed arch) windows (some with coloured glass) in the side walls, while the front wall now features a large window with a pointed head. The secondary gable to the side added in 1963 has clerestory windows to the side walls, and the entry porch, now located at the side, has a low pitch gable roof with prominent eaves. The grounds contain two large trees (a Poplar and a Liquidambar) and a small sign.
