OLD GAASCH HOMESTEAD - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site: This was reputedly the Gaash (or Gaasche) family homestead, built circa 1850. The Gaash family were prominent in the early history of this part of the harcourt Valley.Heritage Inventory Description
OLD GAASCH HOMESTEAD - Heritage Inventory Description
A homestead, constructed of double hand made brick on granite footings with a shingle roof. There is an associated large timber shed, and an ancient shiraz vine growing in the garden. There is a possibly a dump beside the house.
Heritage Inventory Significance: High historic significance and low archaeological significance
