MCIVOR ROAD HOUSE RUINS - History
Local knowledge indicates that Harry & Eliza Bastow settled the property in the 1880s and built the current granite house. After the Bastows, the property was taken over by the Eagles.The current owner indicatedthat a Brethren sect resided in the area and had houses all over the place. It is unknown at this stage whether the house site was a Brethren house or when it was constructed.MCIVOR ROAD HOUSE RUINS - Interpretation of Site
The site consists of domestic dwelling foundations including chimney base and may have once been part of a farm.

Assessed as moderate significance due to potentil to contain archaeologicl deposits and features, due to ruinous nature of site.
