MOONLIGHT HEAD LAPTHORNE FARM - History
Land leased from Crown in 1898 by ALfred Lapthorne. Improvements listed as fencing, hut, outbuildings, yards and gardens. In 1905 lease was renewed. Improvements listed as "frame house" with "split pales and iron roof" (24x12x9ft), barn and sheds made of stringybark, hut, milking shed. MOONLIGHT HEAD LAPTHORNE FARM - Heritage Inventory Description
Levelled area with planting of 13 mature cypress trees along NW side. There are traces of stone and concrete footings. Two mature pear trees.
