Statement of Significance
A former hotel, built in 1903 by Frank Harty, using funds from a gambling win on the Melbourne Cup. Built in pre-Federation Regency style. Single storey weatherboard (two-storey at the rear). Situated near Lavers Hill, on Moonlight Heads Road (which leads off the Great Ocean Road), on coach route to Beech Forest around Moonlight Head.
