Statement of Significance
A characteristic symmetrical timber Italianate house, probably built in c1890. It is historically significant locally as a relatively rare building of early Croydon, as physical evidence of family life then, and architecturally as a rare example of this domestic type in Croydon.

House - Physical Description 1
A timber elevated Italianate double-fronted symmetrical house. It has a hipped roof and eaves decorated with coved bracket-pairs with a disc and a panel frieze between. The verandah is hipped, with bevelled plain posts. Windows are tripartitie double-hung sashes, with disc and panel decoration. The front entry is a four-panelled door with fan and side-lights, approached on axis by stairs.

Good. The roofing may have been replaced.
