STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE:
Historically, part of an architecturally distinctive series of estates created across rural Victoria in the name of one Geelong's more successful shop owners, Alex Miller, and part of a reoccurring theme in Geelong, from different eras, of private charity accommodation.
Architecturally, following a prototype which was innovatory in its use of a new house form and residential planning concept which as group, formed the first examples of the Bungalow Style.

Alexander Miller Memorial Homes - Physical Description 1
Five pairs of semi-attached house arranged around central garden.
Largely intact, red brick, gable roofs clad in terracotta tiles, exposed rafter ends, roughcast & shingles to gable ends, return verandahs with brick piers, tiled deck (with basalt edge). Paired timber sash windows with brackets, timber panelled doors with glazed upper part & highlight, rendered chimneys with terracotta pots, rendered fence.
