HOUSE - Physical Description 1
A red brick Arts and Crafts bungalow with attic storey and dominant gable roof and gable end facing McCracken Street. The facade is symmetrically arranged with curved lower level window bays and a recessed porch with semi-circular arch. The attic storey is cement sheet clad with strapping in the gable end and there is a central balcony with a gently curved front, the verge being supported on curved brackets and the apex of the gable being filled with shingled weatherboards (?). Emphasis is given to the porch by means of brick buttresses and there is a curved window bay on the north side. Light and ventilation to the attic floor is provided by a skillion roof dormer in the manner of the period and there is a surmounting terra cotta dragon finial.
