MERLYNSTON UNITING CHURCH - Physical Description 1
The Merlynston Uniting Church is a late example of what would be a typical pre-World War I weatherboard church. It is a simple weatherboard church with a terracotta tiled gabled roof and half-timbered gable ends. There are cylindrical vents to the roof. The church has a small weatherboard entrance annex on the front of the west (side) elevation, also with a terracotta tiled gabled roof, which is probably contemporary with the main body of the church. The church features a notable shallow bay window to the street (south) facade, with dark milky glass leadlight panels.
The rear of the church has been extended.Heritage Study and Grading
