COTTAGE, PEACOCKS ROAD - Heritage Inventory Description
The site comprises the standing remains of a wooden homestead with twin chimneys and iron roof together with associated outbuildings, fencelines, stock yard, loading ramp and well (covered) located with a broad swale 650m inland of Bridgewater Bay. Large pine trees lie at the back of the cottage. The chimneys are constructed from local limestone.
Heritage Inventory Significance: Although the age of the dwelling has not been established, it is likely to be associated with Emerson Cottage (H7121-0021) and is significant under criterion C and D
