RIVER TRACK CHARCOAL PITS - Heritage Inventory Description
Two charcoal pits on east side of Wimmera River. The sides of Pit 1 show evidence of burning but have partially collapsed. There is a very small mound of earth, lightly scattered with charcoal three metres from this pit. There is a low dirt mound along three sides of Pit 2, but the walls are largely collapsed. No evidence that the scrap metal around the pit had ever been used to line it.
