SEP 3, REGENT STREET COTTAGE - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site: Separation Estate commenced 1851, and by 1860s there were 65 houses in area. This building possibly dates to this period, and, if so, is significant as remnant of early Victorian subdivision building and the settlement of Separation.
Originally 4 room cottage, possibly part of Separation Estate. Estate established in 1851. By 1865 there were 65 houses.

Heritage Inventory Description
SEP 3, REGENT STREET COTTAGE - Heritage Inventory Description
The remnants of a square, timber, four roomed house on wooden stumps. There are no awnings and it has a corrugated iron roof. The rear has completely collapsed, revealing the interior. Furniture is still present, and there is an inch thick accumulation of wallpaper, including newspaper. There are no outbuildings. Ceramics fragments visible in grass and trees surround the cottage.
Heritage Inventory Significance: Medium. A lot of detail make the site worthy of further investigation/ recovery. Exposure of interior will hasten deterioration.
