Contribution to landscape of historic garden
Aesthetic value
This is an outstanding avenue, being the only known occurrence of this species used in this way. The avenue is particularly attractive in the autumn when the leaves turn golden orange and yellow, and form a very prominent and important planting in the William Guilfoyle designed gardens.
